I have installed the ReDJ component and plugin to Joomla 1.5 and I habe also activated the Plugin. Then I have created a Test-Item as follows:

From-URL: /support
To-URL: index.php/de/events-a-trainings/events/175-einfach-virtualisieren

When I now test the URL "www.k-is.de/support" I get an error 404.

What have I made wrong?

Hi,
the To-URL syntax shold include protocol and domain (you ca use macro {siteurl}). For example, in your case:

http://{siteurl}/index.php/de/events-a-trainings/events/175-einfach-virtualisieren

I have tested it, but the same problem (error 404).

Try to disable ReDJ plugin, and call the URL. I want know if error 404 page is the Joomla! one or is the standard browser error page.

That's because without .htaccess file, ReDJ is able to intercept just the error managed by Joomla!. If you configura .htaccess (only for Apache web server) as suggested in ReDJ component item istructions, you can catch every error page.

I'm having the same problem.

I've set up www.electrodata.com/CW3Demo to point to www.electrodata.com/index.php?option=com_content&id=81

I've got the From URL set to: /CW3Demo/*$
And the To URL set to: /index.php?option=com_content&id=81

The problem is the same. On the URL:

www.electrodata.com/CW3Demo

I get an error 404 directly from Apache and not from Joomla:

If you want ReDJ to work you need to configure Apache so that errors 404 are assigned to home page of Joomla.

Have you the ".htaccess" in the root folder of your web server?

P.S. To URL value MUST be absolute (e.g. http://{siteurl}/index.php?option=com_content&id=81)
