I'm having slight problems redirecting some broken google links...

I need to redirect all traffic directed to a sub directory..

I have (broken) links to :-
www.******/data/****.html
I need to redirect to :-
www.******/shop/index.html

Can i redirect all traffic from ./data/ to /shop/index.html?

Yes,
you can redirect many URL that match with a pattern to the sasme destination. Since the next release it will be possible to have multiple destinations too.

Only problem i have discovered is if there is a % in the url :-
www.xxxxx/data/18938/Samsung+Black+Laser+Cartridge+For+Ml+1610+2,000+Pages+At%+Coverage/Printer.html

I get
Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Is there any work around for this please

the problem is that percent character (%) is used into the URL to encode/escape other characters, so it should itself also be encoded.

Try to replace it with "%25".

I'm afraid i cant change/edit the URL's.... these are old (broken)links that google has indexed...

All www.xxxxx/data/ links are now redirected to www.******/shop/index.html using your (excellent) product...

just a problem if there is a % sign in the broken url..
