I have probably 30 different categories and will have about 100 articles in this situation that I need to resolve via redirection:

I need this:

non-sef version:

www.mysite.com/index.php?option=com_content&Itemid=&view=article&id=1350%3articletitle

to look like this:

www.mysite.com/section/1350-articletitle
non sef version:

www.mysite.com/index.php?Itemid=285&option=com_content&id=1350%3myarticletitle&view=article


where 285 is the menuid

Any help on how to accomplish this would be GREATLY appreciated.

Since the data isn't available in the non-sef url, I'm assuming the only way to accomplish this is to remove the middle part of the SEF url. I just have no clue how to do it.

If I get it you would like that (as example), when the user type in:

www.mysite.com/section/1350-articletitle

He get redirected (maybe "internally") to the real destination content corresponding to this URL:

www.mysite.com/component/content/article/111-section/1350-articletitle

Is this right? Could you confirm that the destination www.mysite.com/component/content/article/111-section/1350-articletitle works?
