I just moved a Joomla 1.5 website from a directory /test/ (www.website.com/test/) to the root of the server (www.website.com).

It's all working fine. (Note I also deleted all the old websites pages in the root of the server as well as the /test/ folder)

Now I want to recreate two sets of redirects because there's a ton of marketing materials with old webpages links and indexed pages on search engines.

#1 - www.website.com/web/courses-programs to www.website.com/courses-programs (tons of pages like this)

#2 - old html websites from an old html website e.g. www.website.com/programs.html to www.website.com/courses-programs

How/Can I do this with ReDJ? or do I need to use .htaccess and if so how?

Hi,

I just successfully moved our joomla site to the root of the server (from www.mysite.com/test/ to www.mysite.com)

I also deleted the old html pages from the old html website and I also deleted the /test/folder.

Now I need to create a bunch of redirects because visitors have bookmarked old html pages and pages starting mysite.com/test/...

Here are two example of pages I need to created redirect for:

#1 - www.mysite.com/test/classes should now be www.mysite.com/classes (there's a bunch of pages like this one)

#2 - www.mysite.com/classes.html (old HTML website) should now redirect to www.mysite.com/classes

How Can I do this with ReDJ?
