I installed Version 1.5.5 Community to replace 1.5.4 Community. Now on unredirected bad URLs the following warning message is displayed before the Joomla default error message:

Warning: strpos() [function.strpos]: Empty delimiter in <site_directory>/public_html/plugins/system/redj.php on line 79

That message appears three times. I went back to version 1.5.4. The messages are not displayed. The visitor only sees the normal Joomla error message.

Ok,
I just solved a similar issue for another user via email.

Change line 79 of redj.php plugin from:

if (strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], $base_path) !== 0) { $base_path = rtrim(dirname($_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME']), '/\\'); }

To:

if (!empty($base_path)) { if (strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], $base_path) !== 0) { $base_path = rtrim(dirname($_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME']), '/\\'); } }

That's all. I'm releasing a patched version.
