Hi, I've installed your componet on my site, and it works great so far - very lightweight and effective.

The question I have is there a way to use wildcards within the redirection? Basically what I'd like to do is redirect all incoming links point at the non-SEO joomla links and redirect them to the SEO links.

Aka - I'd like something that changes links point to: mysite.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=x&catid=x&Itemid=x

to redirect to:

mysite.com/section/catid-category name/article id-title.html

on a dynamic basis, as our users are constantly creating content - ie I don't have the time to add a new redirect for each article. Is there a way for Redj to handle this with a conversion string or the use of wildcards?

That's a good question and a new idea.

At the moment it is not possible because ReDJ uses MySQL implementation of regular expressions to match the current URI with the configured item.

With this implementation of regexp, "pattern" for search & replace (like sed command) are not supported. So, the redirect URL is "static".

But I think this is a great idea, and I'll work to implement it in the next release. It should be possible to choose a dinamic target URL, where pieces of URL (e.g. parameters) can be taken from current original URL (e.g. article ID), using PHP implementation of regexp.
