i have a problem with a unique URL structure that i cant seem to redirect(404 error).

FROM: host/de_test_test_company.Company?ActiveID=4589
TO: host/de/test.html

the problem seems to be lying with the .Company?ActiveID=4589 since following works:

FROM: host/de_test_test_company
TO: host/de/test.html

The ?is Escaped in the Rule.
The ActiveID makes no difference in the Result.

It seems the redirects do not like the .Company

Any help on this problem is greatly apreciated.

it could be a problem related to rule's order (i.e. a rule that also matches with your URL and with a lowest order).

The problem is that the error page is provided directly from Apache. No way for Joomla / ReDJ to do something.

To avoid this, you should add this row at the end of .htaccess file:

ErrorDocument 404 /

If your Joomla site is installed under /joomla folder, than use this:

ErrorDocument 404 /joomla/

Problem solved before to go home...
