1. Using Joomla 1.5 and SEF turned on. Installed ReDJ and it works fine as long as the error is: www.sailpilot.com/index.php/*

My outdated site was static and old pages like: www.sailpilot.com/antilles/ still give the old 404 error page!

2. Trying to redirect specific urls to a particular page, the results are not saved and I have this warning: Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/sites/pilot/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 344

What do you suggest?

About first question, I need to know source and destination URLs you need to redirect.

About the second point, I'm just releasing new version of ReDJ that fix this error too.

Just wait for few days for new release.

This url doesn't exist, but ReDJ does it's job well: www.sailpilot.com/index.php/antilles

However, any url without "index.php" in it just gives the old 404 error, like this one for example: www.sailpilot.com/antilles

Yes, of course.
The error page was returned directly by Apache, so it means that call doesn't arrive to Joomla (and to ReDJ, of course).

You just need do add an ErrorDocument option at the end of .htaccess file located on the Joomla root folder (as indicated in ReDJ items edit page):
