I have looked the forum and have not found this issue, if it is in the forum, someone please put a link to it.
I have my old links, from the old site, redirecting with redj to the new joomla pages.
The old links, xxxyyy.php that are redirected to /xxx-yyy work great, but the search engine ordering and bots still place the old xxxyyy.php high ranking in the search engine results ordering. isnt there a way to tell the bot, during the re-direct that the old link is old and to use the new link? instead of making it an alias all the time??!!
or is this beyond ReDJ scope?
should we go to meta redirects for the pages?!
The old links still have high ranking. so that is great, and redj does its job, but in my case, I want the old links to be removed from the search engines and still work for a time in case someone has the old link.
thanks for your input and ideas!!
