Big thx 2 developers - thats nice plugin for meta and very easy to use. But I have 1 little problem.

I'm using the option "Add site name to page title (After)" - and it works correct, that's ok.

So all sites pages look like:

Article | Site.com
Category | Site.com
Section | Site.com

But anyway is it possible to use site name before the title strictly for main page. So main page would looks like:

Site.com - best site in the world

ps
i know i can use "Clean default page", but using just site name without any text at the frontpage is not best choise for seo...

Isn't this your case? If not, I can help you to add a new parameter to Tag Meta plugin, to do what you need.

thx for answering, but when I was talking about "page title", I didnt mean title showing in the body, I mean title showing in the top of the browser. For example for topic I created it called - "Is it possible with Tag Meta ? - Forum - Browser name".

Anyway, I'll try to rephrase my question.

For example, I have site with 4 pages. They are: mainpage called "Site.com - best site in the world", and 3 more pages called "About", "Contacts", "FAQ"

And for example my site called "Site.com" (site name in basic joomla options). Now I wanna use TagMeta plugin option "Add site name to page title". So I've turned on it at the position "After" and made Separator string like this "\b|\b".

Now thats all fine and we can see next titles (browser titles of course):

1. Site.com - best site in the world | Site.com
2. About | Site.com
3. FAQ | Site.com
4. Contacts | Site.com

And now all I wanna do is to make next list:

1. Site.com - best site in the world
2. About | Site.com
3. FAQ | Site.com
4. Contacts | Site.com

In other words, is it possible to turn off "Add site name to page title" option specially for main page.

the answer is no, without to modify the plugin code. It's easy, tagmeta.php in folder "plugin/system". Line 87:



Change into:



Then, you can delete line 103 (variable $menu already set):



A better solution is to add a new parameter to exclude homepage from title modification (added to wishlist for next release).
