I`m pretty new in SEO things and Joomla.

My Joomlasite is set up:

In Global Configuration:
Search Engine Friendly URLs -> Yes
Use Apache mod_rewrite -> Yes

And Tag Meta as
/image-slideshow-mainmenu-50/rugby-and-history-gallery
/our-people
/our-story
/our-village
/our-care-facilities

and at least my homedirectory as:
^/$

Does it work that way? Or do I need to setup the NON search-engine-friendly URL`s

Hi,
Tag Meta works checking REQUEST_URI as server variable. So, in general you should specify the real target URL as in your case. There's also a plugin option to use REDIRECT_URL instead of REQUEST_URI, useful for some situation where internal redirection happens.

Your settings are perfect, even in the ordering.

There could be some strange situations (e.g. SOBI2) but these are "exceptions" to the rule...
