Hi Nicolle,
and thanks for buying the Enterprise version.
First, let me say you are right, I should update the Tag Meta Quick Guide to add how macros work. But just now I have a new version of Tag Meta Enterprise ready to go, so I would update the quick guide only once (between other new functions, in the next release you will get there are synonyms, and two words autokeywords).
I will release the next version as soon as possible (all enterprise subscribers will be advised by mail for download, remember that subscriptions never ends). But I have just become a father, so there is a little delay in tests...
For now, I will try to explain how macros and autokeywords works. Now you can use macros when you need to specify meta info. In this way Tag Meta replaces the macro with the real current value "at runtime". This allows to have dynamic meta info just with a single item. Now that the macros exists, I will add more and more macros (e.g. supports for the main extensions).
At the moment the most interesting macro is {autokeywords}. This allows to generate a list of comma separated words that can be used usually as keywords, but also into title or description if you need to add some "dynamism" to page info. The macro works parsing the text in the component area counting all the words and sorting from the most used down. Then you can specify the minimul length of the keywords to consider (e.g. min 5 letters) and the number of word to extract. That's all.
If you need more help, let me know.
Regards,
Luigi
