I downloaded Tag1.3MetaCommunity.zip. Go to Joomla install, get the following error.

What now?

Hi,
sometimes it happens (e.g. with old Joomla version).

Anyway,
try to extract the zip package in a folder (e.g. /tmp/tagmeta) and from the backend use the "install from folder" option. This usually works.

If not, let me know, and I will install it for you.

first check you are using the right version There are two release in the downloaded package, one for Joomla 1.5 and one for Joomla 1.6/1.7.

If the installation problem persists, please, tell me which is the error message (even a screenshot is good).

yes, i'm using Joomla 1.5.23. I purchased the Enterprise version of the product and was trying to install the 1.4.1 version first. I was unsuccesful. I then tried to download and install the link I found on your forums to 1.3.1. That didn't work either. In both instances I received the same error Doc was getting. When trying to install it manually through the backend, it is unable to find the package directory. I am typing in "/tmp/tagmeta/". When that didn't work I also tried "/public_html/tmp/tagmeta/".

I guess the same error Doc is:

* JFolder::create: Could not create directory
* Warning! Failed to move file.

If so, it could be a folder permission problem. Check your permissions from the Joomla info panel in the backend. Also take a look at web server error log to see if there's a message related to the problem.
