Hi,

I've downloaded and setup Tag Meta. However, I need some help understanding which URL to add when creating a new item (apologies I am very new to this).

Do I use the non-SEF URL for pages, or do I use the Joomla SEF URL's? I have the default Joomla SEF option enabled for my site.

Also will the new meta descriptions / titles added with 'Tag Meta' overide the previous meta descriptions / titles which have been added using the standard Joomla system? Or should I only use 'Tag Meta' for URLs which I cannot amend using the Joomla system?

Any advice greatly appreciated!!!

Hi Donnie,
generally speaking you can choose any settings you prefer for URL generation, but I would like to suggest you to use Joomla native SEF options.

About the second question, initially Tag Meta was created to alllow to set meta info even for those extensions that have no option. But now there are a lot of advanced functions (e.g. macros and placeholders). Maybe you could take a look at quick reference available here:
