Sine that I don't see any more .htacces in root of Joomla. I also tried copy a new one .htacces in the root of Joomla but it disappear I also tried to rename the file (e.g. .htaccess_)but nothing is working. Please help me! Thanks a lot, jolipoussah

I've downloaded the htaccess.txt file.

added ErrorDocument 404 / See a small section below.
Ive saved as .htaccess
I've uploaded this but my re-directs are still not wotking.
Any ideas please I'd be most grateful.
Have I added ErrorDocument 404 / in the correct place ?
